Phil IddisonResident in United Arab Emirates for several years, Phil was a member of the Al Ain chapter of the Emirates Natural History Group. The collection of date stones which formed the basis for Mark Beech's comparative studies of modern and archaeological material was a result of Phil's special interest in local foods. Some of the papers presented by Phil Iddison on food and the cultural history of the Emirates and also some of his photographs are published on the website of the Emirates Natural History Group.
