| Site Q1 (N 24° 09'
07.1", E 52° 58' 32.0") Ras al Qa'la is the northern part, Q1, of the Kihal exposures and can only be visited when the sabkha between it and Kihal is dry. Only a few fragmented vertebrates were found here but the sediments of the Baynunah Formation are well exposed on its northwestern sea cliffs. |
